The Motion button is enabled from the Component ribbon only when a hierarchy is added to the Motion drop zone. The Motion capability is available when working with Cartesian, plotted, and map charts.
By default, the motion panel is located along the bottom of the canvas:
Toggle the Motion button to position the motion panel along the top of the canvas:
Click the Motion drop down menu to:
- Move the motion panel: specify if it should be placed along the top or bottom of the canvas
- Change the speed: by default the speed is set to Fast, which changes visualizations at a rate of 1 second. Select Normal to change the rate to 2 seconds, or Slow to change the rate to 3 seconds.
